The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2020 increasing compensation limits in the employment tribunals from 6 April 2020 was laid before Parliament today.
A week’s pay, for basic award and statutory redundancy purposes, increases from £525 to £538 for all dismissals on or after 6 April 2020.
The maximum compensatory award increases from £86,444 to £88,519.
